The Day of Remembrance ceremony is about for Thursday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. Honoree relations Lowell Grissom (brother of former astronaut Gus Grissom) and Sheryl Chaffee (daughter of former astronaut Roger Chaffee) are going to be attending.

Following the commemoration, a wreath-laying ceremony will happen at the Space Mirror Memorial. Attendees are going to be given flowers to pay respects to our fallen heroes.

The Astronauts Commemorative Foundation may be a private, not-for-profit group that built and maintains the Space Mirror Commemorative.
